Jean-Jacques was born in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, and moved to Worcester with his parents in order to attend the Pioneer School for the Visually Impaired. He accordingly grew up in Worcester, along with his two siblings: a twin sister and a younger brother.

He later attended Montana High School, where he served as head boy during his matric year in 2013.

After graduating from high school, Jean-Jacques studied in Stellenbosch, where he obtained a qualification in bookkeeping and business management through the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) — a qualification he values today more than he ever thought he would. He then attended the University of Stellenbosch, where he graduated with an LLB degree in 2018.

Following his graduation, Jean-Jacques returned to Worcester, where he completed his articles of clerkship at Muller Terblanche & Beyers Attorneys in 2020.

​

While completing his articles of clerkship, Jean-Jacques furthered his studies with a qualification in the Administration of Deceased Estates, presented by the University of South Africa (UNISA) in collaboration with Legal Education and Development (LEAD).

​

After his admission as a legal practitioner and enrolment as an attorney of the High Court in February 2021, Jean-Jacques immediately decided to start his own law firm and became the proud founder and owner of J Naudé Attorneys Inc.

​

In the years since, Jean-Jacques has furthered his professional credentials by qualifying and being admitted as a conveyancer, as well as obtaining right of appearance in the Supreme Court.

​

Jean-Jacques values community involvement, especially within the disabled community of Worcester. Since 2023, he has served — and continues to serve — as the chairman of Pioneer Printers, a non-profit organisation that makes reading material accessible to the blind and visually impaired in braille, large print, or audio format. He is also actively involved with the David Theron Trust, which was established to provide support to individuals, especially children, with hearing impairments.

During his spare time, Jean-Jacques enjoys water-skiing, playing golf, and playing musical instruments, including the piano and guitar. However, spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends remains of the utmost importance to him.

Today, Jean-Jacques considers the establishment of J Naudé Attorneys Inc. to be one of the best decisions he has ever made and is truly passionate about the legal profession and the opportunities it holds.

René was born and raised in Pretoria, where she completed her primary and high school education. She matriculated from Menlopark High School in 2014.​​

​

After school, René moved to Stellenbosch, where she obtained a BA degree in Psychology and Xhosa. She then completed an Honours degree in Psychology at the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) in Cape Town, followed by a Master’s degree in Psychology from Arden University in London. Most recently, René completed a postgraduate Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree through Stadio University.

Notwithstanding her academic career, René joined J Naudé Attorneys Inc. full-time in August 2021, where she quickly gained extensive experience in the day-to-day running of the firm. Since January 2025, she has taken on a leadership role in the conveyancing department alongside Jean-Jacques. It was here that she discovered her passion for property transfers and related matters.

A keen sports enthusiast, René has a particular love for the Summer Olympic events. During her school years, she was a competitive swimmer and lifesaver, and in 2013 she represented South Africa at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Australia, returning home with two silver medals.

​​

In her spare time, René enjoys watching movies, playing board games, reading, and — most of all — spending quality time with family and friends.

​

Having now completed her LLB, René is excited to commence her articles of clerkship with J Naudé Attorneys Inc. and serve its clients as a candidate attorney and member of the professional staff.
